Advanced Mission Solutions is seeking a senior level System Engineer with mathematical and algorithm development background to support efforts to define concepts and systems engineering solutions to customer requirements to advanced communication, signal processing systems and other systems.
The successful candidate will need to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment, and must be a self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as part of an Integrated Product Team (IPT). Must possess good communication skills, both oral and written; technical leadership skills desired. Experience in leading and conducting mathematical analysis, modeling and simulation efforts to support product development is desired; prior systems engineering experience is required. Experience in working with customers to develop technical roadmaps and business strategies is desired. The ability to work across a broad spectrum of disciplines including, RF and acoustics communications at a technical level sufficient to translate customer needs into clear, actionable requirements and interface specifications. Some travel required.
Looking for candidates with experience in either one the following areas: Mathematical analysis, modeling and simulation, System Architecture development.
Basic Qualifications (Required Qualifications):
- TS clearance
- MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
- 10+ years of systems engineering experience
- PhD Mathematics
- TS/SCI w/CI Poly
- Guidance Navigation Control experience
- Boeing Mustang Program Experience
Typical Education Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
