The position will be responsible for leading a team of talent acquisition professionals and project managers based internationally and within the US.   The overall mission of this team is to develop strategy and execution specifically for international entry level talent capture.  This will involve integration with key business stakeholders globally


This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Talent Acquisition professional, strategist and people leader with an appetite for change/transformation within a growth environment. Boeing is modernizing the HR function across the globe with new technology (Workday), business and service delivery models to enable higher value engagement with the business and external talent communities in service of the global growth strategy of the enterprise

Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of an overall internship/apprenticeship/entry-level hiring strategies outside of the US.
  • Ensure alignment, understanding and incorporation of international hiring processes and goals;
    • Identify future talent needs globally and ensure that we have integrated programs that feed our international pipelines.
    • Incorporate international UR portfolio strategy, individual business unit and country requirements, local supply & demand trends, candidates’ expectations and budgeted resource spend.
  • Ensure strategy and execution of international programs includes the HR transformation effort for Talent Acquisition across the globe;
    • Technology (Workday implementation) & Process
    • Strategy & Culture
    • Performance & Operations
  • Manage the implementation and administration of policies, processes and tools to support program strategies and activities.
  • Manage strategy and engagement with all global universities within the portfolio.  Ensure that schools in portfolio reflect the long term needs within country and regions.  Work closely with the university relations team within US to ensure funding and resources reflect global UR needs.
  • Manage specific programs within the entry level space globally which include but are not limited to International Business Internship Program (IBIP) and UK apprenticeship programs.
  • Works closely with the International Global Talent Acquisition team to ensure that programs and strategies align with overall global business needs. 
  • Accountable for building, engaging, coaching and developing a high performing team focused on delivering service, operational excellence and quality hires and programs.
  • Ensure that programs and strategy are based on long term global resource forecasting

Stakeholder Management Responsibilities:

  • Partners with hiring managers and leaders across the globe to develop and execute programs and strategies that meet the businesses’ hiring goals.
  • Works with International Human Resource teams and Business Partners to develop programs and strategies as well as providing metrics and reporting updates
  • Represents Global entry level talent acquisition in cross functional projects, meetings and events
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Partner with peers and leaders across the globe to balance risks and protect the company; ensure team members understand controls in place to successfully perform their responsibilities
  • Deploy the business architecture for global system and associated systems integration and sunset plans

Human Resources & Admin

  • Significant experience working in talent acquisition and recruitment in an international environment
  • Experience leading and managing geographically dispersed teams and stakeholder groups is required
  • Experience living and working in the Europe, Asia or Middle East Regions
  • Expert knowledge of talent acquisition and university relations  best practices
  • Experience of managing change programs and leading a team through change
  • Experience in developing project plans and integrated strategy
  • A clear understanding of service delivery and using metrics to measure and manage performance to ensure high quality delivery on time and within budget
  • Experience working Internationally, in a US led or multi-national organization is desirable
  • Talent Acquisition  experience in multi-regions is highly desirable
  • Professional certifications in HR, recruiting, talent management would be advantageous
  • Prior knowledge & experience of the Workday platform and/or leading technology implementation would be beneficial
  • Bachelor's degree or higher is required

This requisition is for an international, locally hired position in Bristol, UK. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S.-based payroll, and will commensurate with experience and qualifications and in accordance with applicable UK law. Employment is subject to the candidate s ability to satisfy all UK labor and immigration formalities. Relocation benefits will not be provided and there is no expatriate package associated with this position
