Job Description

The Boeing Company is recruiting for an Integrated Planning and Scheduling (IP&S) Specialist (Level 4) on the GMD Program within Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS). Assigned to the Integrated Planning and Scheduling manager for the GMD program. This position is located in Huntsville, Alabama.

The candidate will have the following but not limited to statement of work:
• Performs the preparation, development and coordination of the integrated schedule to meet program requirements.
• Must be able to integrate program schedules, horizontally and vertically, across company functional, product groups, suppliers and partners.
• Performs baseline, networking, critical path and float analysis to develop and coordinate integrated schedules, networks.
• Supports risk and opportunity analyses.
• Resolves assigned critical path issues.
• Identifies and recommends solutions to network logic conflicts.
• Assists in identifying and reporting schedule performance measurement techniques and associated cost measurement techniques.
• Identifies and reports schedule performance variances and associated impacts to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas.
• Performs scheduling impact analyses related to a change request and incorporates approved changes.
• Performs scheduling impact analyses related to a change request and incorporates approved changes.
• This position will be responsible for assessment of schedule risk, identification of opportunities (including schedule margin planning) and providing robust/actionable performance reporting from the IMS to support and drive program management understanding and action.
• Ensures and monitors configuration management standards of integrated program schedule.
• Refers to policies, procedures, and practices for guidance.
• Interacts with internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.

This position is located in Huntsville, Alabama and does not offer relocation assistance. If you do not currently reside in or near this location, you must be willing to relocate at your own expense.

Basic Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain Secret Clearance (Pre-Start) and Final Clearance (Post Start)
• Project management experience
• Experience working with suppliers
• Experience working with schedule networks

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active Clearance
• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Experience do you have in Open Plan Professional (OPP) and/or Microsoft Project (MS-Project) schedule applications
• The successful candidate will possess the ability to work well in team environments, excellent organizational skills, analytical ability and excellent communication and presentation skills

Typical Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
