Boeing is looking for a Mid-Level Cybersecurity Test Engineer to support Cyber Test efforts on the GMD program. This person will assist in the SEI&T efforts and engineering oversight of the GMD Cybersecurity Test activities on the program as part of a complete Cyber Engineering Lifecycle.
Plan, design, integrate, execute, analyze, and report GMD activities and results for the Cyber campaign to include: Cyber Table Top Exercises; Controls Validation Tests; Cooperative Vulnerability and Penetration Assessments (CVPA); and Adversarial Assessments as described in the program test plans
Support the BMDS and Operational cyber test activities
Conduct Cyber Testing to validate and verify cyber test requirements and RMF control implementation per and the Cyber Implementation Plan (CIP)
Also support the development, sustainment, use and configuration of the CRIAB (Cyber Range in-a-Box) which will involve creating, testing, pen testing, exploiting, etc. virtual versions of GMD systems and networks
Conduct GMD Element Cyber test planning in support of each BMDS defined Cyber event, test or campaign
Conduct test planning to include development of GMD Element test objectives, test and data requirements, test configurations, integration and analysis plans, test planning documentation, supporting schedules, and determination of applicable findings
Support risk analysis and mitigation planning of the test findings
Utilize Agile methodologies for planning and execution of tasks
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
Minimum technical Bachelor's degree
3+ years in cybersecurity engineering
Cybersecurity certification (i.e. DoD 8570, Security+, CISSP, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Network or Computer Engineering degree
Active Security Clearance
Familiarity with US military, military customs, and/or defense systems
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Basic relocation is available for internal candidates.
