We are looking for a Senior Advanced Technologist - Artificial intelligence (AI) Speech and Language Processing interested in and passionate about solving top challenges in autonomy and artificial intelligence to join our team and change the world with us.
Responsibilities include:
  • Research and development of a low technology readiness level speech recognition system
  • Investigation, implementations, and evaluation of innovative approaches to automatic speech recognition applied to specific conversations as well as generic conversations
  • Maintaining and improving core system features, services, and engines of the speech processing and text processing platforms
  • Collaboration with other Advanced Technologists to provide solutions to challenging text analytics problems in a fast-paced agile/scrum environment
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Experience with natural language processing, speech processing, acoustic modeling, language modeling, and speech recognition
  • In-depth knowledge of classical machine learning and deep learning concepts
  • Developed and delivered speech recognition applications using classical and/or deep learning algorithms
  • Developed dialogue system applications
  • Hands-on experience with natural language processing, machine learning, and deep learning algorithm development

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ year with object oriented programming


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • A Technical bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or PhD degree from a college or university in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study
  • Experience with major deep learning framework such as Caffe, CNTK, Theano, Torch, and Tensorflow
  • Experience developing in the cloud computing or web services environment
  • Professional work experience developing in the cloud computing or web services environment

Typical Education / Experience:
Technical bachelor's degree and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 7 or more years' or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.
