Boeing has an exciting opportunity for a full life-cycle Recruiter for our Huntsville, Alabama, location.  In this position the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Understanding the technical/functional hiring needs and translating those into effective short and long-term recruiting strategies to find applicants;
  • Maintain contact with hard to find skilled candidates to keep them interested in Boeing opportunities;
  • Provide consistent communication to business partners on status of requisitions and candidates; and ensuring successful hires.
  • Technical recruiting (e.g., talent sourcing, sourcing strategies, candidate evaluation/ screening), leveraging the use of online recruiting resources, tools and systems to identify and recruit the best candidates.
  • Working in tandem with hiring managers to develop job postings; represent the job requisitions, related skills and compensation package to candidates;
  • Maintaining contact with potential candidates using various communication techniques to keep candidates interested in future Boeing opportunities
  • Identifying and encouraging potential candidates to apply to job openings.
  • Planning and supporting recruiting events. Conducting research on recruitment standards and monitoring new trends and opportunities.
  • Building positive relationships with business partners, human resources and internal recruiting /staffing teams and candidates.

Typical Education / Experience:

Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Full Life Cycle Recruiting experience
  • Experience writing effective job descriptions
  • Experience interpreting job requirements and identifying those requirements in candidate resumes and candidate interactions
  • Experience utilizing social networking tools for recruiting purposes
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (i.e. Taleo, HireRight, etc.)
  • Experience creating recruiting and sourcing strategies
  • Experience building complex Boolean search strings
  • Knowledge of OFCCP compliance requirements
  • Willingness to work non-standard hours, as needed
  • Ability to travel and work in the local office as well as satellite offices within the region.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience recruiting in the aerospace and defense industry
  • Experience recruiting/sourcing for technical positions that require a security clearance





This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R.  § 120.15 is required.
