Boeing Ukraine is seeking a Engineering Team Leadto join the Production Engineering organization in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and implements new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts.

  • Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems.

  • Resolves technical problems that would significantly affect performance, cost or schedule.

  • Develops and implements cost effective and improved processes for Lean production and tooling methodologies. As a member of an integrated product team, integrates technical solutions to ensure process and product reliability.

  • Implements Lean principles and technologies. Improves product development and execution performance.

  • Investigates alternative solutions to meet the producibility requirements.

  • Initiate assesses process capabilities on the product definition at a team level.

  • Assists in providing input to the program plan to ensure that producibility activities and deliverables are incorporated.

  • Assists in providing resource estimates for producibility functions to the team leader;

  • Organizes, prioritizes, schedules and assign work packages to team members.

  • Checks daily/weekly work progress against schedules.

  • Ensures compliance with contractual, operational, and regulatory requirements.

  • Ensures on-time delivery and high quality standards of work performed by the team.

  • Foresees and prevents potential conflicts and risks associated with package completion.

  • Develops training plans and train team members.

  • Develops and plans manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives.

  • Leads investigation and resolution of complex or systemic manufacturing related issues.

  • Leads development of complex work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments.

  • Develops and documents new job practices, techniques and standards.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • A key player in MWW team.

  • 4+ years of engineering work experience.

  • Bachelors Degree or Equivalent in Engineering is a must.

  • Fluent English is a must as well as Ukrainian.
