Boeing Ukraine is seeking a Manufacturing Planner to join the Production and Industrial Engineering organization for supporting the 737/777/777X Program. A successful candidate in this role will have passion, creativity, and a steadfast desire for process improvement and efficiency.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the developing, implementing and maintaining various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials and work instructions / illustrations.

  • Resolve technical problems that would significantly affect performance, cost, or schedule;

  • Analyze design/build concepts to evaluate a producible definition and investigating alternative solutions to meet producibility requirement.

  • Support timely delivery of engineering release and manufacturing deliverables.

  • May be required to work overtime, weekends, and holidays, to support business needs and deadlines.

  • Help develop manufacturing concepts and strategies that support business needs.

  • Investigate tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements.

  • Provide producibility guidance to design, manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules.

  • Record and share processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements.

  • Be inquisitive, pro-actively seek information and assist to complete the work statements.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or related field (or higher).

  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Solid communicator, fluent in both written and verbal English.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 2+ years’ experience in manufacturing support.

  • 2+ years’ experience applying professional/technical writing skills, teaming successfully to solve technical issues.

  • Proven experience working with and partnering with multi-functional teams;

  • Flexible & adaptable in a diverse & fast paced environment.

  • Comfortable working in a matrix environment, using collaborative relationships to achieve goals.

  • Knowledge in IVT, CDS, PDM/CAPP, Web-based resources.

Existing rights work in Ukraine is required.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience).

Relocation:

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
