Boeing Ukraine is currently looking for Payloads and Interiors Design Engineer to join their team in Kyiv, Ukraine.

A successful candidate will contribute to the completion of specific programs and projects dedicated to building and delivering of airplanes. You will provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Develop solutions that are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives.

Position Profile: 
•    Develops, maintains and modifies structural and interior payload system and component designs, using 3D CAD tools and/or other design methods, to provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers and external customers throughout the product lifecycle. 
•    Checking Supplier development, test and production activities and coordinates with the supplier to optimize the design and achieve program goals. 
•    Develops new design, processes and tools to improve the effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the development effort. 
•    Investigates emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements. 
•    Works under general direction.

Position Responsibilities: 
•    Collaborating with the Interiors Engineering Manager and working with the global engineering services team, across multiple time zones, in order to identify requirements and their associated solutions for active and upcoming projects: 
•    Develop engineering design solutions for modifications to aircraft cabin systems such as:
•    Developing modification documentation in support of 7X7 Boeing Aircraft Retrofit programs.
•    Produce substantiation documents in order to demonstrate compliance with relevant regulatory and operational requirements, including:
•    Design reports (egress, direct view, etc.)
•    Flammability compliance, System Safety Analysis for interior components and systems.
•    Compile engineering accomplishment documentation and instructions for continued airworthiness.
•    Attend various meetings and represent Boeing on aircraft surveys and on-site installation support at various locations.
•    Support statement of work and bids for new customer requests.
•    Work closely with customers, Supplier, MROs regulatory agencies and other teams within the company, to create engineering solutions that exceeds customer expectations on time and within budget.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
•    Master's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.
•    Good understanding of materials, strength calculations, manufacturing methods.
•    Knowledge of 3D CAD software for development of details, assemblies, and installation documentation.
•    4+ years of work experience as a design engineer.
•    Upper-intermediate level of English and higher
•    Existing rights to work in Ukraine

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
•    Master's degree in aviation.
•    Deep knowledge of aircraft passenger systems and airframe structure.
•    Excellent understanding of aviation materials, composite materials, strength calculations, manufacturing methods, product lifecycle.
•    Understanding of stress analysis for design and material selection. 
•    Deep Knowledge of GD&T. Expertise in Catia, PDM & Enovia, 3DX.
•    Self-organized person with attitude to work productively and efficiently while being able to adjust to multiple demands. Works under general supervision.
•    Strong communication, teamwork, initiative, integrity and attention to details.

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience).
