Job Description

As an Office Receptionist you will support office operations and administration services in the Westminster office and Boeing employees across the UK reporting to the Boeing International Enterprise Services (BIES) Business Support Manager – UK and Ireland. The Boeing office hosts several business partner organisations and a shared meeting centre. The Receptionist – Administrative Assistant will be a part of our passionate and highly-motivated team who are excited to be on the forefront of dynamic customer service

Primary responsibilities:

  • Manage and operate the reception desk for our visitors and employees
  • Manage the meeting centre, ensuring a high standard of hospitality for all office residents and visitors attending or hosting meetings, maintaining the upkeep of the meeting rooms and collaborating in events organization
  • Ensure proper application and implementation of policies and best practices related to workplace health and safety
  • Ensure the maintenance and general upkeep of the office and equipment
  • Implement and maintain desk-top process documentation for the department
  • Work closely with the other Receptionists – Administrative Assistants in the Westminster office and other UK offices, including providing remote and/or on-site backup support.  This backup support will mainly be required for the Heathrow House office in Hounslow

You will work closely with internal and external customers and partners with the various Functions and Service Groups/providers. Accuracy, accountability and confidentiality are key together with professionalism, customer service, flexibility and competence

  • Previous experience as a receptionist, events support and office administration in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Experience in managing meeting events: bookings of shared conference areas and catering
