Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Integrated Planning and Scheduling Specialist located in El Segundo, CA. This position will support a new contingent Proprietary Program in the Phantom Works division of Boeing Defense.
Responsibilities will include:
- Lead highly complex program studies by developing, analyzing and integrating operations, major suppliers, and teams from multiple areas of the company. Formulate comprehensive recommendations and present summary to Program and Executive Leadership.
- Lead the creation of highly complex schedule products, and the collection of work statement, sequence, required inputs and products. Integrate the plans and coordinates with stakeholders.
- Review highly complex proposed or authorized changes for completeness and accuracy and determines the impact on the applicable planning and scheduling baselines.
- Consult on schedule related risk and opportunity analysis on highly complex statements of work to identify schedule completeness and executability, and resolve critical path and network logic conflicts and present recommendations to leadership.
- Lead and extracts highly complex product and process data from planning, scheduling and change related processes.
- Provide visibility to leadership by interpreting and presenting information and recommendations in order to facilitate and integrate process and product improvements.
- Consult on the impact analysis and recovery planning.
- Lead, reviews, analyzes, and prioritizes detailed schedule performance related issues /delinquencies.
- Identify downstream impacts and report findings to leadership for re-planning where appropriate.
- Negotiate and resolves highly complex issues as required.
- Provide expertise and leadership in developing, integrating and maintaining the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
- Serve as enterprise-wide subject matter expert to lead, develop and baseline the Integrated Master Plan (IMP) on highly complex programs.
This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Experience in a finance, scheduling, industrial engineering, change management, strategy, program management, or project management role
- 10 years of experience in change management, program planning, project management, integrated scheduling, Industrial Engineering or Business Operations
- 10 years of experience team schedules, resource management, earned value management, risk management, and project management
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience developing proposal schedules
- Experience using Open Plan Professional
- Experience using Microsoft Project
- Experience using Milestone Professional
Typical Education:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.).
