Boeing is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support its growing requirements in our Melbourne operation. You will be a key member of the Australian Talent Acquisition team, responsible for hiring the best possible talent primarily focused on supporting our Aerostructures operation in Melbourne which has over 1000 Employees.
 
This is a full life cycle recruitment role focusing on hiring activities, building and refining talent pools, engaging and influencing key stakeholders and delivering a superior candidate and hiring manager experience. You will be an experienced Talent Acquisition professional and take full ownership and responsibility for the sourcing, engagement and selection of top talent.
 
Profile Description
  • Understand business needs, engage with the Business leaders and Hiring Managers, and deploy appropriate Talent Acquisition solutions to fulfill the requirements
  • Conduct job briefs for every requirement, partnering with the stakeholders to advise and influence the hiring process
  • Execute and comply with all enterprise and local Talent Acquisition policies and procedures whilst always looking for opportunities to enhance them
  • Deliver innovative sourcing solutions to meet business needs and generate diverse pools of applicants
  • Own the candidate experience, maintain engagement throughout the hiring process and beyond
  • Perform applicant down select, telephone screening and interview co-ordination
  • Own the offer management process, propose offer packages, obtain internal approval, extend to the candidates and negotiate where applicable
  • Occasionally work out of hours to engage with globally based stakeholders and candidates
  • Work across other Boeing Australia sites as and when required to support surge activity, leave coverage or periods of absence.

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Melbourne Australia. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S.-based payroll, and will commensurate with experience and qualifications. Employment is subject to the candidate's ability to satisfy all background check requirements.

Qualifications

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Talent Acquisition
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Knowledge and track record of recruiting in Australia with a bias towards proactive sourcing
  • Ability to organize and prioritize a varying workload
  • Proven stakeholder management skills
  • Understands the importance of, embraces and exceeds performance targets
  • Proactive approach to problem solving
  • ‘Always people first’; focus on candidate experience and superior quality approach
  • Ability to leverage data to informing hiring decisions and sourcing approaches
