Boeing is seeking an experienced, hospitable professional to lead a close knit team of Tour Guides at the Future of Flight in Mukilteo, WA. Future of Flight is where we showcase Boeing to people from around the world. The Future of Flight is a public facility that showcases aviation/aerospace innovation and the Boeing Tour. It is one of Puget Sound’s most popular tourist attractions.
The Future of Flight welcomes more than 320,000 visitors every year to experience the Boeing Tour of the Everett Factory. In addition, the facility hosts conferences, events and community activities, as well as various educational engagements. The Tour Operations Lead will assist in facilitating visitor experiences, maintain tour displays, scripting and information to educate visitors and promote Boeing's reputation within the community.
This opening is for a full-time position which will include work on weekends and holidays. The Future of Flight is open seven days a week from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and has extended hours in the summer from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The optimal candidate for this position will be customer focused and able to build positive relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers and partners. They will be responsible for working with the Future of Flight leadership team to coordinate daily tour logistics involving employee and bus scheduling, tour routes and ADA support as needed for the Boeing tour in Everett Washington. Must be able to anticipate program needs, discern work priorities, and meet deadlines with little supervision. The Tour Operations Lead will collaborate cross-functionally with other Boeing and Future of Flight teams to achieve joint objectives.

- High School Diploma or higher
- 2+ years' experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners
- 2+ years' experience leading or facilitating group events
- 2+ years' experience in transportation planning
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Experience leading teams, including cross-functional teams
- 2+ years' experience working in the hospitality or tourism industry
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 7 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+5 years' related work, Bachelor+2 years' related work, etc.).
