Jeppesen a Boeing company is looking for a Human Centered Tool/Operating Station Design Engineer m/f/d (Advanced Technologist) based in Neu-Isenburg, Germany.

As a Human Centered Tool/Operating Station Design Engineer in the Boeing Software Engineering organization, your task will be to support and lead the development of features and tools bringing advanced automation and autonomy features on the flight decks of today’s and future aircraft.
Position Responsibilities:
Understand pain points of existing solutions by conducting user interviews and in-depth human factors analysis
Concept development, prototyping and evaluation of proposed design solutions, incl. human-in-the-loop/user testing
Development/management of design requirements, detailed development of software features
Build buy-in for developed solutions across a wide range of stakeholders
Support junior team members and software development teams with detailed requirements and guidance
Acceptance testing of software features
Serve as an Agile Product Owner

Preferred Qualifications (Experience/Education/Skills):
Expertise in application of Model-based System Engineering approaches and tools
Knowledge of product safety and certification requirements
Knowledge of human factors/human-centered design principles
Piloting experience or knowledge of flight deck operations
Strong business acumen
Experience working within the Scaled Agile Framework
Experience developing in C++, C#, Unity
Required Qualifications (Experience/Education/Skills):
Bachelors/Masters in Human Computer Interaction, Aerospace Engineering or related field
Experience with human-in-the-loop testing and flight simulation
Proficient coding in contemporary environment
Fluent in English
