Boeing South Carolina is currently seeking a Programmer / Analyst who is challenge driven and enjoys a fast-paced, exciting environment! At Boeing, software is an enabler to our mission to connect, protect, explore and inspire the world through aerospace innovation. This position will work in a Digital Transformation Environment (DTE) as part of a dynamic team developing Mobility solutions to improve efficiencies on the factory floor. The Developer is one of very few teams that have the ability to work with factory automation. This team’s programmers work in a DTE Pairing environment, and utilizes DTE concepts and principals.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provides assistance to design, program and execute test plans
- Implements, documents and maintains routine computing applications and software
- Assists in gathering and evaluating end user requirements
- Writes and compiles routine code and constructs routine database objects based on documented design
- Modifies or upgrades applications to maintain software functionality
- Documents, validates and researches reported problems
- Participates in meetings with end users to learn the user's processes and to assist in gathering and documenting requirements for software applications
- Develops software solutions to meet design specifications utilizing standard methodologies and tools. Performs testing to validate software meets design specifications
- Supports the integration process for Boeing software solutions to meet end user's requirements, utilizing standard methodologies and tools
- Develops and executes test plans and procedures to verify that the solution meets the requirements
- Identifies and dispositions defects as required
- Assists in validating discrepancies and issues
- Assists in the development and execution of implementation plans
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Experience with the following:
- C#
- SQL
- HTML 5

- Test driven development
- Mobile application development
- Xamarin
- XML
- ASP.NET
- AJAX
- Web Services
- Git version control
- Continuous integration and continuous delivery with TFS
- Mobile Application integration with Bluetooth and Bluetooth Low Energy
- Paired programming
- Agile development
- React
- Bachelor's degree or higher
Typical Education & Experience
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
