We are currently recruiting for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers - Avionics Tradespersons located in Nowra working on the HATS program.  These are temporary full time roles which will be required to carry out maintenance, modificiation, inspection, testing and troubleshooting of the program aircraft avionic systems and assosciated equipment within the scope of their applicable training, competency and task autorisation.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Repair, test and fault diagnosis of aircraft systems as directed
  • Ensuring all activities including any anvillary tasks are completed for assigned tasks as required
  • Signify that work is completed to the specified requirements by stamping the appropriate documentation as authorised by the HATS program SMM.

To be successful you will have: 

  • Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Avionics) or equivalent trade qualification
  • Minimum 5 years aviation experience in maintenance of aircraft and has at least 12 months experience as a fully qualified tradesperson on Aircraft type, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Aircraft maintenance documentation within the ADF regulatory environment
  • Previous experience in a Defence Military Aerospace environment
  • Previous experience on EC135 aircraft type
  • Previous experience using cMRO, ERP Maintenance Management Systems
  • Experience in the use of Boeing business tools (e.g. BBMS, Ematrix, BINs, ERP)
  • Well developed MS Office & Desktop application skills
  • Valid open drivers licence
