Boeing is seeking a Facilities Business Relationship Manager (Level K) supporting our Oklahoma City site. This position within our Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) organization will be the business-facing representative for all aspects of Enterprise Services to the various business organizations at the site.

The Business Relationship Manager (BRM) is a strategic partner for business leadership teams.  As the liaison between GREF and our business partners, you will communicate about facilities support activities related to both site & GREF business strategy. You will use knowledge of overarching facilities initiatives as well as maintain a pulse on site level facilities operations activities. You will also be expected to understand the business partner's business strategy (production targets, new business capture, financial targets, etc.) and the impacts on the facilities organization.

As the liaison between GREF and the business partner, you will support business-driven requests for studies and projects, receive business requirements & work with our various Centers of Expertise (COEs) to identify optimal solutions. This will enable reviews of solutions with the business partner for approval/alignment and then work with COEs to support execution for the selected option. 

The BRM role is heavily engaged in the annual budget development process as you identify business requirements and prioritization and provide that information to GREF. This position may have few to no direct report employees; however, is responsible for partnering closely with the service delivery Centers of Expertise (COEs) to ensure business requirements are supported.  You will collect strategic business information & collaborate with GREF leadership to identify strategies for our service organization to improve.  Collaboration in strategic and operational planning with the executive team and Center of Expertise partners, as well as operational leadership and management will be critical to your success.

The GREF organization supports the company’s large domestic and international footprint as part of Boeing's Enterprise Services function, which also includes Indirect Supply Chain, Executive Flight Operations, and Executive Protection. As Boeing continues to grow, and our function works to be an enabler to business success, we are building teams and leaders with growth mindsets to anticipate & grow to meet the needs of the company at large. In addition, it will serve a strategic leadership purpose to help develop the future workforce strategy requirements of the organization and influence pipelines for talent and development within those future structures.

This position will integrate the services of five Centers of Expertise with the activities of the Business we support.  The COEs include Engineering & Technology, Facilities Management, Global Real Estate, Planning & Asset Management, and Project & Construction Management.  The COE teams are responsible for delivering the services while the Business Relationship Managers are responsible to the businesses and COEs for ensuring alignment on the right services and priorities.  This highly collaborative role within a matrixed organization requires strong professional verbal and written communication skills and a willingness to take ownership of challenges so the teams may navigate through them.

This position requires occasional travel to other U.S. Boeing sites.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Represent Enterprise Services on business/division leadership teams

  • Forge relationships with business leaders and partner for best value/best of Boeing solutions for business teams

  • Participate on business capture teams to identify real property requirements and help identify solutions

  • Collaborate with other Business Relationship Managers to identify synergies across the Enterprise and provide more value to the business

  • Identify, develop, and implement Lean strategies to simplify service delivery and service experience for our business partners

  • Drive and influence change; demonstrate leading through influence

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience as a customer facing focal or strategic business partner/leader

  • 3+ years of experience in teaching, coaching and developing others

  • 3+ years of leadership experience

  • Experience developing and managing budgets

Desired Qualifications (Preferred Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • 5+ years of experience managing metrics to drive data solutions/decisions

  • 5+ years of experience within project leadership including planning, implementing and executing program plans

  • Experience managing competing priorities using problem solving & critical thinking skills

  • Experience in facilities operations/management

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $100,000 - $135,000
