Job Description

The Boeing Company is looking for a Mid Level Design and Analysis Engineer for our Oklahoma City location. Responsible for design and sustainment of automatic and manual test equipment at Air Force Depot testing and repair facilities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Investigating and diagnosing hardware or software issues with the equipment and developing corrective solutions.
  • Will often require working closely with the equipment OEMs, as well as Boeing and Air Force personnel.
  • Maintenance, troubleshooting and developing solutions
  • Apply to hardware and software Test Program Sets which are executed on the automatic test equipment when testing aircraft avionics.
  • Ensuring that the capabilities of the test equipment support the testing requirements of the units under test.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.



Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • Experience working with Programmable automatic test equipment and manual factory test equipment.
  • Experience with Lab View, C++ programming languages.
  • Experience writing, debugging and maintaining test software in C++, LabView or Visual Basic


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

  • Experience with digital, analog, hybrid, RF and microprocessor circuits.
  • Experience with repair of modern circuit cards and electronic assemblies.
  • Experience with testing and diagnosing electronic components and test equipment
  • Experience working with Technical Publications, Configuration Management, Asset Management and Quality Assurance personnel
  • Experience working with US Government customers
  • Experience with military standards and specifications for design, test and documentation
  • ATLAS programming language


Typical Education/Experience:


Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 5 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 3 or more years' experience or PhD degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
