The Boeing Company (“Boeing”) is seeking a Paralegal to join the Law Department within the Law and Global Compliance organization. This position will provide paralegal support to the Senior Attorney and Site Leader supporting the Mobility & Surveillance and Bombers & Fighters Missile and Weapon Systems division of Boeing Defense, Space and Security.
This position is based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

The ideal candidate will also have the ability to exercise sound judgment, experience with a high-volume caseload, and a desire to keep learning in an ever-changing environment.
Coordinate with in-house counsel, senior paralegals, outside counsel and company personnel to assist in reviewing Proprietary Information Agreements (PIAs), contractor agreements and proposals, conduct information integrity investigations, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, conduct discovery requests, and third-party subpoenas
Perform and analyzes legal and factual research and writing; reviewing contracts; and conducts internal and external investigations
Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, to convey, obtain, and exchange information with individuals at all levels and from various backgrounds
Self-motivated, cooperative, capable of meeting deadlines, organized, and process and detail-oriented
Work well in a team environment with colleagues and clients spread across multiple time zones
Work independently and handle given assignments with minimal oversight by attorneys and/or lead paralegals
Perform team and/or department-orientated tasks, projects, and activities as assigned
Provide administration support as needed
Travel locally as needed
Work occasional overtime
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in either a law firm, corporate law department, or government legal setting
A minimum of five (5) years of experience working with Microsoft Office Applications
A minimum of three (3) years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
A Bachelor’s or paralegal degree from an accredited university
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Cooperative, positive, team-oriented attitude
Proficiency with SharePoint set-up, WebEx set up and records management systems is desirable
Experience in the handling and safeguarding of proprietary and confidential information also preferred with the highest level of confidentiality and discretion
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 7 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+5 years' related work, Bachelor+2 years' related work, etc.).
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
