Job Description

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking Systems Engineering Technician (Level 2) to join our growing Engineering team located in Oklahoma City, OK. As a member of this team, you’ll be involved in developing and supporting modifications and upgrades for one of the following three programs: Bombers, Executive Transport Services & Support (ETS&S) fleet, and Airborne Surveillance Command and Control (ASC2). The Boeing Company has seen significant growth in Oklahoma in recent years and we’re looking for qualified engineers to be part of our team.

Your duties as the technical support will include (but are not limited to):

• Supports systems/specialty engineers in defining requirements, developing trade studies, performing analyses, and controlling associated data and information.
• Gathers, tracks and analyzes reliability, maintainability and health monitoring data.
• Participates in failure reporting. Assesses and verifies maintainability design.
• Coordinates the development of certification and aviation regulatory proposals and plans and verifies compliance to requirements.
• Develops and supports implementation of certification processes, tools and procedures.
• Trains others.
• Works under general direction.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.

Basic/Required Qualifications:
• Create and maintain design documentation by using company/industry standards
• Develop and maintain engineering related user documentation to support the design of engineering systems.
• Check products using standard guidelines to verify regulatory conformance and contractual compliance.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Products
• Communicate with Internal and External Customers

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with DOORS is a plus.
• Experience with SysML, OML, or Rational Rhapsody is a plus
• Experience in System Engineering, Program Management

Typical Education/Experience:
AA degree in related discipline and typically 1 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

This position is located in the Oklahoma City, OK area and does not offer relocation assistance. Applicants must reside in area or be willing to relocate at their own expense.
