Boeing Canada Operations Ltd is looking for a junior Financial Analyst to join their team. Performs general cost and schedule analysis of resource forecasts (labor and material), budgeting, baseline maintenance and estimates at completion. Reconciles data from multiple sources and provides general business support to program integrated product teams including extracting data, evaluating performance, and performing earned value and variance analysis. 


1. Develop and analyze resource forecasts, control account Estimates at Completion (EACs) and associated risks and opportunities analysis; financial EACs and associated risks/opportunities. Reconciles data from multiple sources and performs general support of resource forecasts and/or EACs for control accounts, budgets, functions or pools; financial EACs for contracts or programs.


2. Develop and coordinate integrated schedules, networks, resource plans and forecasts with program management.


3. Define and communicate cost and schedule performance measurement baselines, including earned value, variance analyses, and cost and schedule trends.


4. Performs recurring tasks such as identifying, coordinating and establishing cost collection structure. Reconciles data discrepancies and corrects errors in cost charging.


5. Extracts data and compiles routine performance reports and assists with preparing variance analyses.


6. Assists in developing: cost-focused business cases using appropriate indices; financial business cases using appropriate indices.


7. Assists with the process of defining requirements for and deployment of common systems, tools, processes and training in support of improving resource, business planning and reporting processes.

1. Must be proficient in English (written and verbal technical communication)

6. Ideally has a degree with relevant work experience
7. This position requires high skill proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, Excel (formulas, pivot tables, linking spreadsheets, etc.), Project, PowerPoint, etc.


Additional information
This requisition is for an international, locally hired position. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Boeing will not seek immigration and labor sponsorship for any applicants; this is the responsibility of the job candidate.
