Boeing Canada Operations Ltd. is seeking a Technical Service Analyst to support the Canadian Chinook Medium-to-Heavy Lift Helicopter Program (MHLH) reporting to the MHLH Engineering Manager working out of the Ottawa, Ontario office. The Technical Service Analyst will provide maintenance technical support for MHLH fleet of aircraft.
Position Responsibilities:
Effectively manages and tracks the CH147 Chinook Helicopter technical requests to include but not limited to: airframe systems, dynamics systems and avionics systems.
Directs and applies program level technical and knowledge of engineering planning, supportability, scheduled maintenance plan development and on-going technical support in support of the CH147 Chinook fleet sustainment.
Reviews and staffs engineering and supportability documents such as aircraft modifications, aircraft special inspections and aircraft inspection change proposal and engineering dispositions.
Supports Engineering and Integrated Logistics functions pertaining to the MHLH program and acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements.
Utilizes technical writing skills to develop and maintain engineering and airworthiness documentation and processes that support the MHLH program.
Possesses strong team building skills and adept at maintaining good relationship with all stakeholders.
Facilitates and oversees engineering processes with cross functional teams
Be able to perform assigned work with minimal direction and supervision.Actively participates in determining objectives of assignment; project plans, schedules, and independently arranges activities to accomplish those objectives.

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
4+ years of Aviation experience
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
Must be able to legally work in Canada
Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data
Must consent to Canadian Government Controlled Goods Program (CGP) assessment
Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods
Must be eligible for Secret Level II security clearance
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
10 + years of Aviation experience in Maintenance and/or Engineering
Rotary Wing experience
Knowledge of the Royal Canadian Air Force Technical Airworthiness Policy
Post-Secondary education
Aircraft Life Cycle Management
Knowledge in Obsolescence Management
Active Secret II Clearance
Typical Education and Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.)
Relocation:

Additional Information:
This requisition is for a locally hired position in Canada. The employer is Boeing Canada. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Benefits and pay are determined by Canada and are not on Boeing US-based payroll. This is not an expatriate assignment.
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance Level II from the Canadian government. Requirements to obtain a secret security clearance can be found at:
