The Boeing Canada Operations Ltd. is seeking a Quality Assurance Representative, reporting to the Field Operations Quality Manager. The work will be performed at the MHLA Support Activity site located at Petawawa Ontario.
This position will oversee the maintenance operations performed by the Boeing Team on the Canadian CH-147 aircraft. Compliance to regulatory requirements, audits and process monitoring will be a major part of this function.
Reviews and validates product non-conformances and disposition type, quality procedures and engineering requirements for CH-147 aircraft repairs.
Performs analysis to identify and evaluate the quality of products, operations and processes to Quality Management System requirements, applicable company procedures, contract requirements or government regulations.
Applies knowledge of aerospace design, systems and integration to perform failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systems.
Trains and mentors fellow employees in the Quality Management System. Performs root cause analysis on the nonconformance to identify the cause and prevent reoccurrence.
Develops, modifies and documents actions to assure problem resolution or to implement corrective/preventive action and documents resolution.
Obtains corrective action on nonconforming parts and services.
Reviews and validates the corrective action plans and identifies affectivity to ensure completion.
Reviews and approves Quality planning changes or disposition of nonconformance’s.
Reviews and implements corrective action on audit results to ensure media is stored and handled per engineering defined requirements.
Interprets industry standards and provide recommendations for implementation.
Creates analytical reports and coordinates with the responsible parties for internal/external distribution.
Works under general direction.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
A minimum of 3+ years of CH-47 experience is required
Working knowledge of Quality Assurance responsibilities
Basic understanding of Quality Management Systems
Candidate must consent to Canadian Government Controlled Goods Program (CGP) assessment
Candidate must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):
Quality Assurance training
AS9100/9110 training and experience
Experience working with Government programs
Prefer an active Secret Clearance
Formal Training on CH-47 aircraft
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).
This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
This requisition is for a, locally hired position in Petawawa Canada. The employer is Boeing Canada. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Benefits and pay are determined by Canada and are not on Boeing US-based payroll. This is not an expatriate assignment.
