This Senior Product Owner will collaborate with the product manager to lead and train the BCC team on this digital portfolio to propel our mission into second century. This Senior Product Owner will also work closely with the Boeing Capital IT development team, scrum master, and various business owners. This position provides a unique opportunity for a product owner with a visionary mindset and appreciation for digital tools to help us lift off our BCC digital transformation and help us leap even further in supporting the enterprise. With that, a self-starter, passionate, and driven individual is key to success.
Major job responsibilities include:
- Define the product backlog
- Create actionable user stories
- Prioritizes the backlog
- Accept the completed user stories to ensure the work fulfills the criteria
- Documents business processes and information flows in support of solution development
- Facilitates user group and steering team in effort to train BCC team
As BCC and BCC IT are following SAFe, the product owner for our digital transformation will lead the definition and prioritization of business requirements to support BCC as well facilitating the business implementation of the process and system changes. This role also provides an opportunity within BCC to directly impact business imperatives, lead through process opportunities, leverage digital trends, asses software capability against requirements, partner with key stakeholders and IT to ensure requirements are met and deploy necessary training for successful implementation.
Key Relationship Management
This product manager will leverage key relationships built with primary tool users, and IT to help define the necessary digital product requirements, resource allocation, training & timeline for the tool suite of digital products. Maintaining and building stakeholder alignment with all these parties, and in alignment with the Product Manager, will be a key success factor in this position in order to be an effective conduit that helps ensure successful execution and achieve business alignment.

- 5 + years’ experience building/maintaining business/intelligence tools, databases, scorecards and dashboards
- 5 + years’ experience managing projects
- 5 + years’ experience planning and executing a large IT project involving integration with other products
- 5 + years’ experience managing multiple projects concurrently
- 5 + years’ experience organizing, facilitating, and leading cross-functional team members on projects
- Formal certification & training (PMP)
- SAFe certification & training
- Master’s Degree in a business-related field
