Job Description
With the recent US Navy MQ-25 and USAF T-X program wins and the on-going upgrades to the F/A-18, F-15 and Weapons programs, The Boeing Company is currently seeking entry-level Electronic and Electrical Engineers across multiple exciting technology domains at our St. Louis, MO location.  These domains include Electronic Warfare, Radar Systems, Vehicle Management Systems, Cybersecurity, Anti-Tamper, Mission Computing, Electrical Systems Design and Analysis, and many more.  At Boeing, our EEs develop electronic and electrical system requirements using analytical and technical skills, translate requirements into system architectures and modify hardware and software designs for Boeing aircraft, unmanned vehicles and much more.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Assist with developing / analyzing electronic and electrical system requirements
  • Modify hardware and software designs
  • Assist in the design and analysis of aircraft electrical systems
  • Perform system requirements verification testing
  • Coordinate with suppliers and customers
  • Resolve product integration issues and production anomalies
  • Research basic technologies for potential application to company business needs

Qualifications
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
 
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
  • Bachelor’s degree required by June 2019 
  • Please list current cumulative GPA clearly on resume. 
  • At least 2 semesters/quarters of college level Physics and Mathematics coursework including both Calculus and Differential Equations is required.

 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • Experience with F, firmware, FPGAs, antennas, electro-magnetics/electro-magnetic compatibility
  • Experience working in a lab environment (e.g. HW/SW interfaces/integration, creating/conducting configuration testing, troubleshooting, proficiency using general lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, meters and analyzers) is highly desirable
  • Experience with radar, electronic warfare or communications (e.g. radios) or avionics (aircraft electronics) is a plus.
  • Applicants must have good communication, analytical, and organizational skills and be able to work in a team environment - previous design team or special project team participation is desired.
  • Prefer a 3.0 or greater cumulative GPA on 4.0 scale
  • Prefer degrees in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Engineering with relevant Electrical Engineering experience or coursework

 
Typical Education/Experience
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.  ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
