Job Description

The Boeing Company is seeking an entry-level Support Planning & Management Specialist in St. Charles, MO.

 

POSITION OVERVIEW:

This position is part of the Logistics function in the Missile and Weapon Systems Business and requires both an understanding of multiple Logistics capabilities as well as regular interaction with US and International Military Forces.

 

POSITION RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Assists in the development of support program plans and schedules, validates standard deliverables and supports trade studies for platform subsystems.
  • Researches, documents and provides technical information and supports the establishment of processes to develop and maintain support products, engineering data and integrated support infrastructure, to include Support Equipment, Technical Manuals, Facilities, Training, Spares, and Repairs.
  • Performs technical assist field assignments involving weapons/bomb rack maintenance/retrofit, training, aircraft integration, and support.
  • Travels for work 10% of the time.

Qualifications

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree by May/June 2019
  • Must be able to research documents and provide technical information and support. Maintain support products, engineering data and integrated support infrastructure.
  • The ability to travel within the US and internationally is required.

 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in Commercial or Military Logistics field is desired.
  • Experience in USAF or Navy/Marine Corps maintenance or weapons is desired in order to support US and International militaries in their use and maintenance of Boeing weapons, bomb racks and support equipment.
  • A degree in an aviation field is desired to produce and or coordinate Boeing Logistics products for our customers.
  • FAA A&P License is a plus, but not required.

 

Typical Education / Experience:

Bachelor's degree and typically 3 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
