Boeing Brazil Engineering is seeking Expert Electrical/Electronic Installation Design Engineer, reporting directly to the Airplane Systems Engineering Manager of the Sao Jose Dos Campos, Brazil office.

The Expert Electrical/Electronic Installation Design Engineer will join the OEM team that develops and maintains equipment installation technics. Assists in the development and validation of electric and electronic equipment and systems, mechanical systems, logic diagrams and required structures.

Position Responsibilities:

• Knowledgeable of how the business and organization operates.

• knowledgeable of policies, practices, trends, and information affecting the business and organization; understands the competition and the marketplace.

• Understands how to accomplish tasks through formal channels and informal network; understands the cultures of organizations. Applies this information in a way that contributes to the organizations strategic plan and bottom line.

• Develops the capacity to elaborate and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.

• Solves problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware and equipment integration over the entire product lifecycle.

• Research specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.

This position is hybrid/telecommuting. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Must have existing rights to work in Brazil

• Must have a degree in Electrical or Electronic or Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering

• Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA)

• Fluent in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language

• Expert in product development in engineering area is required

Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):

• Expert in system design and integration.

• Expert in working with cross functional teams.

• Demonstrated project management skills.

• Expert in Model Based Development tools.

• Experience in Aerospace industry.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Additional Information:

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Brazil. Candidates must have current legal authorization to live and work in Brazil. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
