Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Senior Flight Test Operations Manager (Level M) to support the E-7 AEW program based in Boscombe Down, UK

Successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and coaching skills that will further enable our business unit to embrace One BPS culture, tools and key performance indicators. Candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be able to inspire others during moments of change. This includes delivering good news and leading difficult conversations. Position Responsibilities

• Manages employees performing activities on a safety sensitive flight line environment.
• Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.
• Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
• Manages, develops and motivates employees.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at their assigned location.

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

• 3+ years of experience working on a flight line.
• 5+ years of experience leading teams in a formal leadership role.
• Experience working with MS Office Suite, such as Word, Excel and MS Project
• Willing and able to work a variable shift.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

• 5+ years of 737/P-8 platform experience

Relocation 

This position is an international assignment - located in the UK. ITA package offered

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range:  156,400 – 211,600
