Responsible for overall labor relations strategy for the Asia Pacific region, including, but not limited to: China, Korea, Australia, Singapore and India. 
Manages a staff of labor relations professionals in overseeing the day-to-day LR needs for multiple businesses and facilities in both regions.  Must be able to establish / maintain / repair relationships with external third parties (e.g. employee representatives, government entities, industry associations) as well as internal stakeholders (e.g. Human Resource business partners, finance, business leaders, and communities of excellence). 
Responsibilities include: 
  • Acquisition due diligence, integration
  • Social relations / collective bargaining
  • Workforce adjustment
  • Enterprise-wide initiatives planning & implementation
  • Process improvement / lean
  • Change management
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the country where the position is located. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not on Boeing US-based payroll.

Preferred candidate will be technically capable, intellectually curious, a team player, and self-starter able to work remotely from headquarters and manage a distributed team.  A mindset of lean and process improvement and an ability to communicate at all levels of an organization is required.  Organizational savvy and the ability to collaborate with others while still achieving results in a timely manner is essential

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field;  Post-graduate degree preferred
  • 8+ years’ experience in HR with progressively more responsible roles
  • Deep technical Labor Relations experience in the Asia Pacific region
  • Experience in a large multinational, highly-matrixed environment
