Join a team where Engineering really matters!  Boeing Global Services (BGS) F-22 is seeking aircraft engineers to join a team where cutting edge technology really matters in St. Louis, Missouri.   Our Engineers work in a highly dynamic environment developing the United States Air Force (USAF) F-22 Raptor.   Supporting the F-22 program, you will play a key role supporting our armed forces and America's defense.

The F-22 Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (SEIT) Team is seeking a Systems Engineer to support Air Vehicle and Mission Systems responsibilities.  The qualified candidate will be involved all aspects of project development and execution.  They will work with the project teams to develop requirements and ensure process rigor on Air Vehicle projects as well as Mission Systems projects.  Tasks for this person will also include development and adherence to agile processes for new development and redesign activities.  They will also have responsibility for integrating the IMS with the agile backlog on current and future projects.  The candidate will be involved in initial Program Increment planning, backlog and schedule integration.  During the project lifecycle they will support project proposals, define SOW, Spec, and KPPs and identify opportunities for improvement.

 

In general, the qualified candidate applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify basic lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. They evaluate customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. They perform analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture. They may also perform analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success. Finally they will support the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes. 

 

The candidate must have strong communication skills to work across teams and to coordinate work scope.   This role has responsibility for creating, maintaining, and executing plans to complete work scope in program increments.

Qualifications

Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

 

Must have an active (or are you able to obtain) a U.S. Security Clearance, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.

Must be a United States Person as defined by 22 C.F.R.  § 120.15?  “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
