Job Description

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking Systems Engineering Technicians junior-level  to join our growing Engineering team located in Saint Louis, MO.

 

As a member of this team, you will be involved in developing and supporting modifications and upgrades for one of the following programs: F/A-18, F-15, T-X, MQ-25.

 

The Boeing Company has seen significant growth in Missouri in recent years and we are looking for qualified engineering technicians to be part of our team.

 
Position Responsibilities:
  • Support systems/specialty engineers in defining requirements, developing trade studies, performing analyses, and controlling associated data and information.
  • Gather, track and analyze reliability, maintainability and health monitoring data.
  • Participate in failure reporting.
  • Coordinate the development of certification and aviation regulatory proposals, reports, and plans; and verify compliance to requirements.
  • Check products using standard guidelines to verify regulatory conformance and contractual compliance.
  • Develop and support implementation of certification processes, tools and procedures.
  • Create and maintain design documentation by using company/industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain engineering related user documentation to support the design of systems.
  • Work under general Systems Engineering direction.

Qualifications

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Familiar with Microsoft Office Products
  • Communicate with Internal and External Customers
  • Minimum AA degree or higher
  • Education or experience with systems engineering principles
 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with DOORS
  • Experience with SysML, OML, or Rational Rhapsody
  • Experience in Program Management
 

Typical Education/Experience:

AA degree in related discipline and typically 1 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
