Job Description

Training Systems and Professional Services (T&PS) has a need for experienced Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) engineers who will function in a Program environment in direct support of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) activities. The selected candidate will work independently within a team environment to manage the overall system configuration and change incorporation of all program baseline elements, including: hardware, software, licensing and programmatic changes. The candidate will also collaborate with USAF and USN counterparts to facilitate program change and baseline management.

Qualifications

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • Collaborates with teams in the development, analysis, management and compliance verification of process and product baselines of complex products. 
  • Define and allocate configuration management and data management requirements for product hardware and software for complex systems. 
  • Define, plan, coordinate and conduct a comprehensive set of product and subsystem level reviews, change boards, and audits to manage change incorporation.
  • Develop the implementation of Configuration and Data Management Customer Deliverables.
  • Support the definition and allocation of Configuration Management requirements for product hardware, software and engineering design data systems throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Apply appropriate technology solutions to the management and delivery of program data to authorized users.
  • Support development of media, Software product end items, and other baseline deliverables to the Customer.
  • Bachelor's and 5 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 3 or more years' experience or PhD degree with experience.

Desired Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with trainers and training systems
  • Experience with Configuration and Data Management tools (ClearQuest, Jira, and CMPRO).

Typical Education and Experience:

Bachelor's and 5 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 3 or more years' experience or PhD degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
