What you will do (day in the life):
Work on a critical knowledge sharing tool for the customer with real world applications.  The tool that the team works on is high-visibility and supports critical analysis supporting the crucial NGA missions and across the broader Intelligence Community (IC). Your work will enable NGA analysts to model data in real-time and will help drive more informed and timely decisions in matters of national security.

Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Architect Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will analyze requirements, develop system specifications, lead design and development efforts, and provide guidance on system architecture and design. They will also facilitate program-level processes, problem-solving, and continuous improvement while maintaining technical integrity and effective communication with various stakeholders, including government agencies and senior executives.

A Security Architect Engineer on this team:

  • Develop and maintain security architecture and design for GemCutter Workbench (GCW).
  • Define security requirements and specifications for GCW.
  • Conduct threat modeling exercises to identify risks and vulnerabilities in GCW.
  • Review and assess the security of GCW designs, code, and configurations.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing specific to GCW.
  • Promote and enforce secure coding practices for GCW.
  • Design and secure GCW APIs to protect against common security threats.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive security documentation for GCW.
  • Ensure GCW's compliance with security standards, regulations, and contractual requirements.
  • Raise security awareness among GCW development teams and stakeholders.
  • Provide security training and guidance specific to GCW.
  • Coordinate and conduct security testing for GCW, including code scanning.
  • Select, implement, and manage security tools and technologies for GCW.
  • Develop and maintain an incident response plan tailored to GCW.
  • Assist in identifying, assessing, and managing security risks specific to GCW.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure end-to-end security for GCW.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on GCW's security status.
  • Define and track security metrics for GCW to measure effectiveness.
  • Monitor ongoing compliance with security policies and standards for GCW.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies for their impact on GCW's security.
  • Stay updated with the latest security threats and trends for GCW and implement continuous improvement in GCW's security practices and processes.

Required Experience:

  •  Active TS/SCI with polygraph
  • Analytical skills for requirements analysis and system development support.
  • Effective communication to report progress and assist with problem-solving.
  • Basic understanding of system architecture and documentation.
  • Willingness to learn and collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or junior-level work experience in a similar role.
  • 0-4 years of experience.
  • Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Summary Pay Range: Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

$85,000 - $115,000
