What you will do (day in the life):
Work on a critical knowledge sharing tool for the customer with real world applications.  The tool that the team works on is high-visibility and supports critical analysis supporting the crucial NGA missions and across the broader Intelligence Community (IC). Your work will enable NGA analysts to model data in real-time and will help drive more informed and timely decisions in matters of national security.

Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will analyze requirements, develop system specifications, lead design and development efforts, and provide guidance on system architecture and design. They will also facilitate program-level processes, problem-solving, and continuous improvement while maintaining technical integrity and effective communication with various stakeholders, including government agencies and senior executives.

A Systems Engineer on this team:

  • Requirements Analysis: Analyze requirements, concepts of operations, and high-level architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
  • Design Leadership: Lead design and development activities while effectively negotiating scope and resolving challenges through agile planning adjustments.
  • Progress Tracking: Provide transparency by monitoring and reporting progress and impediments, facilitating program-level processes and execution.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive program-level continuous improvement efforts, actively managing risks, and removing impediments.
  • Validation and Feedback: Validate system characteristics, properties, and behaviors, enabling early feedback for quality assurance.
  • Requirements Facilitation: Guide product owners in formulating requirements, advise on alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership for integrating requirements, design, and technology to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Operational Integration: Seamlessly incorporate new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations.
  • Documentation Expertise: Develop comprehensive system architecture and design documentation for clear communication and reference.
  • Planning Guidance: Lead system development and implementation planning, including the preparation of system engineering management plans and integration and test plans.
  • Government Liaison: Interact with government entities to address systems engineering technical considerations, resolve problems, issues, and conflicts.
  • Technical Integrity: Ensure the technical integrity of work performed and the quality of deliverables within the system engineering domain.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate and collaborate with program personnel, government agencies, overseers, and senior executives.

Required Experience:

  •  Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
  • Analytical skills for requirements analysis and system development support.
  • Effective communication to report progress and assist with problem-solving.
  • Basic understanding of system architecture and documentation.
  • Willingness to learn and collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or junior-level work experience in a similar role.
  • 0-4 years of experience.
  • Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Summary Pay Range: Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

$85,000 - $115,000
