Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager (Level K) to join the E-7 team in Tukwila, WA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with cross functional teams to manage development of advanced capabilities for platform integration and operational deployment for domestic and foreign customers.
  • Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements
  • Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), and risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints for program initiatives
  • Creates schedules, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout the lifecycle of program or project
  • Works to improve project management processes, and business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision-makers
  • Directs all phases of projects from inception through completion
  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives
  • Supports preparation, development, coordination, scheduling, and change management activities of maintaining an integrated plan to meet program and/or project requirements
  • Communicates plan changes and recovery plans to ensure commitment to stakeholders
  • Works with all levels of organizational leadership
  • Lead projects with diverse, cross-functional teams

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years’ experience developing/maintaining team schedules, resource management, earned value management, risk management, and project management
  • 5+ years’ experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners
  • Experience leading complex projects including implementing innovative solutions to project impediments
  • 5+ years’ experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • 5+ years’ experience leading cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams
  • 3+ years of experience in a technical or engineering field

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Experience working with foreign government organizations
  • Experience with data rights, intellectual property, and export control processes
  • Experience leading teams developing multiple product support elements for development programs

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense. 

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.

Summary pay range: USD $135,150 - $182,850
