Boeing Research & Technology is currently seeking a talented and highly motivated Senior Artificial Intelligence / Computer Vision Technologist with coding experience to join their team! The advanced computer vision technologist will be interested and have experience in computer vision, machine learning as well as experience in feature tracking, feature-based 3D reconstruction, 3D environmental mapping, sensor localization, object detection, image recognition and retrieval. The ideal researcher will be a proficient coder in an object oriented programming language such as C, C++, and Python and have experience developing algorithms using sensor data processing packages for sensor data acquisition (e.g. Robotic Operating System), point cloud, and 3D geometry processing (e.g. Point Cloud Library), and visualization (e.g. OpenGL). The technologist should be able to apply AI / Computer Vision and data mining to capabilities such as machine perception, planning, feature extraction, and pattern recognition. This position will be located in Tukwila, Washington, Seattle, Washington, or Huntsville, Alabama.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Experience working in the field of Artificial Intelligence including Machine Learning
- Experience deploying Artificial Intelligence algorithms
- 3+ years of software development experience
- Education or experience in one or more of the following: C, C++, Python, Matlab, Java or Linux
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience in pattern recognition, multi-modal sensor data fusion and visualization technologies are necessary for the position
Experience with computer vision libraries such as OpenCV, PCL, or ROS
Experience with deep learning libraries, such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, Theano, or Caffe
Experience with machine learning techniques
Experience with sensors (cameras, LiDAR, GPS-IMU), embedded systems, and system integration related to autonomous systems
Knowledge of data structure, numerical optimization and algorithm complexity
Experience with Agile methodology and repositories, such as JIRA and Git
Experience in Augmented Reality and image recognition technologies
Publication to his/her credit in areas of computer vision, data fusion, machine learning, pattern recognition and SLAM technologies.
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).
