The Boeing Company’s Government Services Contracts organization is seeking a Senior Contract Management Specialist to join their team in Tukwila, WA; Hazelwood, MO; or Oklahoma City, OK.

This role will support Commercial Derivative Programs as well as U.S. Government and Foreign Military Government acquisition activities. The ideal candidate will support both acquire and execute activities for a complex statement of work and organizational structure within the Commercial Derivative portfolio.

Position Responsibilities:

• Conducts and leads proposal development from opportunity through contract award including price and terms and conditions negotiation

• Provides contracting expertise to develop and negotiate creative business solutions and new and follow-on business

• Represents the company to diverse customers, mainly in support of the U.S. Government but other commercial and public/private institutions as well

• Administers contracts and agreements during the entire acquisition and product lifecycle

• Trains and develops other Contracts professionals

• Provides contracts and pricing guidance, technical and operational leadership for the program/business management teams

• Partners in the development of business unit strategy and achievement of goals

• Submits offers and serves as an official Boeing representative to the customer

• Develops and/or maintains effective working relationships with customer counterparts and the next level within the customer organization

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher

• 10+ years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts

• 10+ years of experience building, developing and maintaining customer relationships

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers and partners

• 5+ years of experience documenting contracts in support of US Government Prime Contracts

• 5+ years of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) and DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement)

• Confident in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, and able to multi-task and manage expectations

• Work well independently or as part of a team

• Strong time management skills

Typical Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree and typically 15 or more years’ related work experience, a Master’s degree and typically 13 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
