The Boeing Company’s Enterprise and Government Contracts organization is seeking a Senior Contract Management Specialist to join our team in the Puget Sound area. This role will act as a Deputy Corporate Contracts Liaison, supporting government acquisitions that utilize Commercial Item Transfers at Price. This includes acting as an independent corporate level consultant in support of commercially proposed products/services under government acquisition activities. This role provides an exciting opportunity to shape and influence contractual relationships between all Boeing business units, as well as partnerships with external customers/auditors.
This position also allows the candidate to be based in one of the following: Tukwila, WA; Auburn, WA; Everett, WA; Kent, WA; Renton, WA, or Seattle, WA.
Position Responsibilities:
Acts as an independent corporate level consultant in support of Government acquisition activities that include products/service sold commercially, via Commercial Item Transfers at Price
Represents the company in external meetings and communications to a diverse set of customers including DoD, DCAA, DCMA
Partners with Center of Excellence and Program Contracts to ensure timely and compliant submittals of proposal substantiation/determination documents to Government customers
Advocates for balanced solutions to acquisition activities which both protect enterprise business interests and ensure adherence to corporate policy, laws and regulation
Coordinates and supports defense and commercial teams in research, drafting and presentation of data supporting proposal/negotiation
Summarizes complex contractual issues, and leads the development of creative solutions and process improvements
Guides Enterprise contracting best practices and pro forma for Commercial Item Transfers at Price
Travels up to 25%
This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
5+ years of experience in business related function (including but not limited to: Finance, Contracts, Estimating, Procurement Financial Analysis, Business Operations, Supplier Management, Marketing and Sales
5+ years of experience building, developing and maintaining customer relationships
5+ years of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills
Experience negotiating complex acquisitions (incl. terms and conditions, pricing, schedule, etc.)
Focus on building strong customer partnerships
Ability to obtain security clearance
Typical Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years’ related work experience, a Master’s degree and typically 8 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Summary pay range: $107,100 - $144,900
