Job Description

Boeing Technical Data Services seeks an experienced level 3 Publication Project Management Specialist for Boeing Global Services Derivative Airplane Programs.

 

Responsibilities:
 
-Provide maintenance and operations technical data to ensure sustainment capability of products and services.
 
-Research and provide technical information used to develop and maintain logistics products and engineering data.
 
-Contribute to the development of systems support requirements.
 
-Creates quantity estimates to support Contract Proposal Basis of Estimates at work center level.
 
-Contribute to logistics support influence on product designs.
 
-Provide assistance in responding to customer inquiries.
 
-Contribute to the evaluation and implementation of engineering changes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

-Requires at least three years of experience in aircraft related maintenance tasks or A&P/FCC license

-Familiar with Air Transport Association (ATA) technical publications or 737NG Military Derivative airplanes

-Familiar with military terms and data requirements

Publication Knowledge including:

 

-Electronic Maintenance and Operation Documents

-Air Transport Association (ATA) Chapter-System-Section organization

-Flight Aviation Systems Technical Documents

-Flight Operation Manuals

-Airplane Mission System Knowledge

Maintenance Knowledge including:

 

-Understanding of bonding and torque parameters

-Application of Sealants and adhesives

-Hazards associated with moving parts, radio-frequencies, fuel, oxygen, nitrogen

-Association of parts in sub-assemblies, next higher assemblies, interchangeability

-Procedures for use of checklists

-Definitions of Warning, Cautions, Notes

-Creating task flows for removal, installation, testing of equipment
