Job Description

As a Systems Design Integration Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with industry leaders in the cyber intelligence community providing support as it relates to our client’s mission objectives. This position is a challenging role in a multi-contractor team supporting a fast moving program for the customer and their project issues of today, while at the same time focusing and preparing for the challenges of tomorrow.  Cyber criminals and cyber terrorist are working around the clock everyday day to develop new means and ways to methodically compromise networks, seize valuable intellectual property and personal data, and to gain an advantage wherever/whenever they can. Boeing Intelligence & Analytics is committed to providing the most advanced solutions and protection for our customers against the various, and unpredictable forms of cyber warfare.

Description:

This Systems Design Integration Specialist duties include:

  • Leading others to identify, evaluate and document complex computing system requirements.
  • Leading activities to architect, design, build and test delivery systems and components.
  • Providing technical leadership to evaluate product usability, affordability, functionality, security and performance to assess suitability for integration into delivery system environments.
  • Providing technical support and consultation for the implementation and usage of complex delivery systems

Required Experience: 

  • 7+ years experience as a Network Engineer or System and Design Integration Specialist  
  • CCNA or CCDP certification 
  • 7+ years Intelligence Community OR Military supporting intelligence collection operations
  • Understanding of Cisco network devices and cable plants, network fundamentals, LAN / WAN technologies, the ISO layer model, TCP/IP, and data communications systems and protocols.
  • Expert knowledge in switching, routing, and firewalls. 
  • Experience with packet capture tools and traffic analysis.  
  • Working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems; Cisco Prime and Network Analysis Module; and scripting. 
  • Experience in complex troubleshooting and building technical solutions. 
  • Experience in IT operations, servers, storage, networks, systems management, discrepancy report (DR), and Business recovery practices. 
  • Experience in management of production networks in an operations environment.
  • Establishing a track record of reliability and trust with team members and security stakeholders is essential.
