Senior Systems Engineer - Integration and Verification

The Opportunity

Land 2072 Phase 2B Project in Brisbane is recruiting for a Senior Systems Engineer to support the Integration and Verification activities.

Be part of developing next-generation communications system for the Australian Defence Forces deployed around the world offering voice, data and video services.

The role will be based in Brisbane (QLD).

Responsibilities

• Conducting activities in accordance with project plans, and established practices and standards, while continually seeking out opportunities for process improvement. Systems engineering on the project will be undertaken using a Lean and Agile engineering approach.
• Executing of I&V engineering including engagement with the stakeholders and solving I&V problems.
• Preparing and/or reviewing I&V activities.
• Advise of I&V approaches to resolve technical risks and issues.
• Coaching, mentoring and leading junior technical staff.

Experience/Qualifications

• Tertiary degree qualifications in a relevant technical discipline.
• Demonstrated understanding of systems concepts and the systems engineering life cycle including support system development.
• Extensive experience in integration and test/verification in hardware and/or software environments.
• Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements.
