Job Description
BOEING CANADA OPERATIONS LTD. - WINNIPEG DIVISION - designs, develops and fabricates advanced composite parts and sub-assemblies. Join Canada's largest aerospace composite manufacturer and help us as we strive to be the best.
 
Our student Interns are given a unique experience as they learn the ropes and attain newfound competencies. Interns are exposed to on-the-job challenges as they work on hands-on tasks, undergo training, and have the opportunity to work on special projects.

Competencies
  • Strong oral and written communications skill; should be comfortable presenting.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Adobe In-design, Photoshop, Videography and SharePoint.
  • Able to meet deadlines and to juggle multiple priorities, while flawlessly executing on assignments in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Project Management and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications
Education/Experience
  • In the process of completing either a creative communications diploma, journalism degree, or related university communications program.
  • Must be a current full-time registered student with an accredited university / college, completing 1st year at time of internship. Must be returning as a full-time registered student in fall 2018.
  • Must have a Canadian High School diploma, GED in Canada, or equivalent.
  • Must be skilled at Photoshop to design a variety of communications pieces
  • Talented and creative writer and reporter, competent in communications; clear understanding of writing with a key message and for a specific target market.
  • Valuable asset in the understanding of web CMS (Content Management System) application for intranet
  • A driven team player with a ‘can-do attitude’

*Graduates are ineligible unless continuing in full-time post graduate studies.

 

Working Hours/Duration

  • Monday – Friday: 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (hours may vary)
