Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking talented candidates to be the primary interface between Boeing, Suppliers, and Customers to ensure all 737 aircraft deliveries in China go according to plan and free of Supplier issues.  You will split time between working directly with supplier’s onsite and with procurement agents and technical experts in China and in Puget Sound. This position is for an assignment at the Boeing 737 China Delivery Center located in Zhoushan, China.
In this position you will:
  • Work with suppliers to ensure issues are identified and tracked to closure in a timely manner.
  • Ensure supplier participation as part of the operating rhythm, as appropriate.
  • Ensure Supplier Data Requirements / Deliverables are delivered by suppliers and disposition by Boeing on-time.
  • Maintain Second Issues standard operating procedures ensuring expedited parts are on hand to support emergent needs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers and partners.
  • This position may require irregular work hours (nights, weekends, and holidays) to support customer deliveries.
  • Work directly with responsible procurement agents to resolve emergent issues during installation and delivery activity.
  • Maintain Boeing and supplier metrics collaboratively and ensure jointly reviewed.

Basic Qualifications (essential requirements a candidate MUST have to qualify for the position)
  • Able to speak, read, and comprehend English at a professional working level proficiency
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and teaming skills
  • Ability to manage conflict and initiate action in order to achieve objectives
  • Ability to use computing systems
  • Knowledge of and adherence to relevant ethics and business conduct guidelines
Desired Skills
  • Knowledge of aircraft interiors assembly processes
  • Flight line Operations and supplier performance experience a plus
  • Ability to interpret technical data including process documents, engineering dwgs and/or maintenance manuals
  • General knowledge of the procurement process and supplier management systems
  • Ability to work well under pressure
