Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is looking for a Senior Financial Business Unit Integrator (Level 4) to support our T-7 finance team located in Berkeley, MO

T-7 Red Hawk is an exciting, development franchise program that is produced by Boeing in partnership with Swedish aerospace partner Saab.  In this role, you will work with a wide variety of functional teams (i.e. supply chain, engineering, program management, etc.) to help bring value-added analysis to program financials.  Opportunities for professional and leadership development on this high visibility program.  The ideal candidate is a continuous learner, critical thinker, servant leader, and enjoys working in a dynamic business environment.

Prime responsibilities will include being a lead on completing quarterly financial forecasts, planning/setting up a new production program financial cadence/metrics, financial and earned value management analysis, and government financial reporting requirements.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and analyze forecasts and/or Estimates at Completion (EACs) data
  • Maintain financial controls related to financial system activities
  • Compiles data from multiple sources and develops performance reports/trend analysis presentations for executive leadership
  • Lead and support new processes and integration projects within team, function, and program
  • Ad Hoc financial analysis and research for program Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
  • Makes recommendations to leadership on financial performance projections using financial/business knowledge and experience
  • Provides cost reporting utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Leads financial system month end processing activities and financial system data integrity
  • Reviews and validates change documents (CDs) as part of baseline execution

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.  This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience analyzing and synthesizing financial data
  • 5+ years of experience interpreting data and presenting analysis and recommendations to management
  • 5+ years of experience working in cross-functional teams
  • Experience in a role which required strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, business or a related field
  • 1+ years of experience estimating and pricing or procurement financial analysis
  • 1+ year of experience in data analytics
  • 1+ years of experience in project management for both small and large projects
  • 1+ years of experience leading or managing projects and/or teams

Typical Education/Experience: 

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $99,450 - $134,550
