Boeing Research and Technology Center (BR&T)- Japanでは、学生の皆様へインターンシッププログラムを実施することを決定いたしました。
当プログラムでは、対象の部門にて実際に1~2ヵ月程度のインターンシップを実施いたします。実際の部門で経験いただくことで、Boeingのカルチャーや仕事内容、今後のキャリアについての理解を深めていただき、ご自身の目指すキャリアにマッチしているかどうかを見極める機会としていただければと考えております。
グローバルな環境かつ、様々なバックグラウンドを持つ先輩方との業務を通じて、是非他では得られない経験をBoeingのインターンシップで体感してください。
Job Description:
ボーイング リサーチ & テクノロジー (BR&T) センターでは、革新的なエンジニアリング技術ソリューションを明確化・定義化し、ボーイング全社に提供しています。 国内での研究開発チームは特に、産学官のパートナーと協力して地域における技術革新の卓越性を東南アジア全域に向けサポートしています。
また、同センターでは国内関連企業・政府等と協力し、持続可能なエネルギーに重点を置いた研究開発プロジェクトを行っております。
同センターはBoeingのプロダクトのみならず、日本国内のサプライチェーンのサポートを行う役割も担っております。
BR&T部門で扱うテクノロジーは下記の通りとなります。

主な業務内容:
主な業務内容は下記の通りとなります。(複数の業務を同時並行で行っていただくこともございます)
- エンジニアリングの要件と生産スケジュールに見合ったサプライヤーの選定(監査プログラムへの参加を含む)
- 適格評価に向けたプロセス、機器準備を確実に行うためのサポート
- 製造された部品やプロセスがエンジニアリングの規定に適合するよう、複雑な原因究明や再発防止活動への参加
- BR&T部門の原材料・プロセスに関するサポートが、サプライチェーンおよびエンジニアリング設計の双方の要件に適合しているかどうかを確認するため、社内のサプライヤーグループ、品質管理部門と密に連携を取り合う
- 研究開発(R&D)プロジェクトへ参加し、製品品質、安全性、コスト、スピードを向上させるための新しい原材料やプロセスを開発する
- 他のR&Dチームをリードしながら、技術開発戦略の策定、複合材料やプロセスに関するコンサルテーションの実施
- 国内外における研究開発部門と協力し、新しい炭素強化ポリマー複合材料や加工技術の実装
- 持続可能性に関連するプロジェクト等への参加
必須応募条件
- 研修期間すべての日程にフルタイムで参加可能な方
- 日本国内にて就業可能なVISAをお持ちの方(資格外活動許可にて長期休業中に40時間/週までの許可をお持ちの方)
- 現在大学、大学院(修士・博士を含む)に在学中であり、2024年10月~2026年7月の期間内に卒業予定の方
- 複雑な航空宇宙製造技術やアプリケーションについて積極的に学習し業務を行える姿勢
- 複雑な組織・チーム内において他者と協力し高い生産性をもって作業が行えること
- ビジネスレベル以上の英語力(読み書き・コミュニケーションとも)
あれば望ましい経験等:
- プロジェクトの計画~実行~管理に関する基本的な知識
- 航空宇宙材料、部品、および製造プロセスに関する基礎知識

This position is based in Nagoya and will be hired on a fixed term contract.
Your Key Responsibilities:
A specific project will be assigned for the position and responsibilities may include:
- Participate in audit programs to qualify suppliers to engineering requirements and production schedules.
- Help ensure materials, processes and equipment readiness for qualification.
- Participate in complex root-cause and corrective action activities to ensure manufactured parts and processes meet engineering and regulatory requirements.
- Interface with stakeholders in Boeing procurement and quality organizations and Boeing Suppliers to ensure M&P support reflects the requirements of both supply chain and engineering design.
- Participate in Research & Development (R&D) projects to develop new and innovative materials and processes that improve production quality, safety, cost, and rate.
- Lead others (team) in R&D work statement, define technology development strategies, and provide engineering consultation for composites materials and processes.
- Collaborate with regional and global R&D partners to implement novel carbon fiber reinforced polymer composite materials and processing technologies.
- Participate in projects or initiatives related to sustainability.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to work full-time for 2 months during the 2024 calendar year.
- Authorized to work in Japan (up to 40H/week)
- Undergraduate, master or PhD students who will graduate between Oct 2024 and Jul 2026.
- Flexibility to learn and work across a variety of aerospace manufacturing technologies and applications.
- Ability to collaborate productively in multidiscipline teaming environments.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
Preferred Experience:
- Basic knowledge related to project planning, management and execution.
- Basic knowledge related to aerospace materials, parts and fabrication processes.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in Japanese.
