Boeing’s Corporate Labor Relations team is looking for a Mid-Level Labor Relations Specialist to join our dynamic team in Berkeley, MO.  The team is looking for someone who has a broad range of experience covering the areas of labor relations, employee engagement and positive employee relations.

The candidate for this position will demonstrate proactive approaches to identifying issues, generating ideas and developing solutions. Our team is open to a broad range of experience levels including; Experienced and Senior Level to find the best fit for this position.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge, guidance and interpretation on collective bargaining agreements and labor relations issues

  • Grievance research and resolution, collaborating with management, other HR functions, employees and union representatives

  • Identify risks both internal and external - to a strong, direct relationship between leaders and employees and develop plans to mitigate those risks

  • Provide innovative ideas/initiatives to increase employee engagement

  • Provide operational advice and counsel to management, HR and support groups on a broad range of labor relations issues

  • Develop strong partnerships with business leaders, HR Generalists, HR functions and union leadership to create integrated solutions that will foster a culture based on relationships, trust and engagement

  • Develop and providing training on Labor Relations strategies and processes

  • Assist management and HR in developing strategies related to employee survey feedback

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 5+ years of experience communicating effectively with multiple levels of an organization

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 5+ years of experience working Human Resources

  • Experience working with Unions in an HR capacity

  • Previous Experience with Workday

Typical Education/Experience:

Experienced (Level 3)

Typically 6 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience.  Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Senior (Level 4)

Typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for Experienced (Level 3): $80,750 - $109,250

Summary pay range for Senior (Level 4): $97,750-$132-250
