Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Senior Procurement Agent - Fleet Program Management Specialist (Level 4) to join The In-Service Team in Everett, Washington, Seattle, Washington or Seal Beach, California.

The Boeing In-Service Team is looking for supply chain minded team members who are ready to take the lead on resolving issues impacting the operators of the 777 fleet. The selected candidate will be a self-motivated problem solver who can translate their previous aerospace experience into solutions for our airline customers. The ability to collaborate / communicate across multiple functions and levels is key to success in the position. This person will work closely with suppliers, engineering disciplines, the Fleet Chief’s Office and occasionally directly with our airline customers.

Position Responsibilities:   

  • Initiate and execute supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies.

  • Support Fleet Chief Office and in-service airline customers to resolve in-service technical and commercial issues.

  • Ensure integration and collaboration with stakeholders, including Program, Contracts, Customer Support, Design Engineering, Production Supply Chain, Value Stream Integration, Warranty, and Boeing Global Services (BGS). 

  • Utilize supply chain experience to remove roadblocks, drive resolution of issues, and increase stakeholder trust and satisfaction.

  • Engage with airline customers to improve customer satisfaction, operational efficiency and airplane reliability.

  • Be responsible for the management and resolution of top fleet issues for assigned program.  Engage in complex technical issues. 

  • Use effective communication and project management best practices. 

  • Develop supply chain presentation materials for use at Program meetings, Fleet Team Conferences, Airline Executive Review Meetings (ERM) and Technical Review Meetings (TRM).

  • Drive and manage supplier recovery plans; including enterprise line of balance with In Service forecast to determine runout date and fleet risk in the instance of parts shortages.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience working Supplier Statements of Work (SSOW). 

  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. 

  • Must be willing and able to travel domestically and internationally as needed.  

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent work or military experience. 

  • 5+ years managing supplier quality and delivery performance. 

  • 5+ years of experience working in Procurement and/or Contract Administration roles. 

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically, 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.  

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $102,000-$138,000
