Boeing Poland Sp.z o.o. is currently seeking a high performing versatile software developer to join the Product Support and Services Mobility and Innovation team. Small Global Team proved support to internal customers in area of Technical Publications, by maintaining and upgrading customer focus applications. Job requires working within a diverse team of skilled and motivated co-workers to collaborate on results. Other qualities for this candidate are a positive attitude, self-motivated, the ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

The position will be associated with one of the Poland offices. However, candidates can work from our office or in hybrid mode from home if preferred.

Please note that the position will be in with US customers and teams, hence working hours may differ slightly depending on the demand of support needed. The role therefore offers flexible working options.

Position Responsibilities:

A successful candidate will understand, develop and maintain software solutions to meet end user's requirements. Ensures that application integrates with overall system architecture, utilizing standard IT life cycle methodologies and tools. Develops algorithms, data and process models, plans interfaces and writes interface control documents for use in construction of solutions of moderate complexity.


Required Qualifications:
•    Excellent English oral and written communication skills 

Preferred Qualification:  

•    Exhibits experience in:
o    object-oriented programming, 
o    Java/J2EE applications and advanced concepts. Special emphasis on Java 8 and Java 17
o    Spring Boot
o    REST API
o    OS Microsoft Window Server
•    Knowledge of UI frameworks: 
o    HTML, CSS, Jquery, AJAX, Bootstrap, JavaScript, Angular
•    Knowledge of Oracle DB would be a plus
•    Experience in Perl file handling and data structures. Knowledge of regular expressions would be a plus.
•    Expertise in XML, XPATH, XSLT, XML schemas is a must.
•    Ability to debug HTML, JavaScript through browser debuggers.
•    Have experience in ALM tools (Git, TFS, Maven, Jenkins, SonarQube, Coverity, Netsparker).
•    Excellent communication skills to work in a globally distributed team.
•    Working exposure with Agile (Scrum) and DevOps is a must.

This requisition is for a locally hired position in POLAND. Candidates must have current legal authorization to live and work in Poland. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll
