Boeing Global Services is seeking who will lead the Operations Team for the SAMC back shop Operations in support of Aircraft Maintenance and Operations. The position is located in San Antonio, Texas.

Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime. Some positions may also be rotating shifts

Position Responsibilities:

• This new leader should be experienced with materials management associated with aircraft modifications and be proficient with tools, parts management needs, and the coordination necessary in leading Backshop employees in support of General Aircraft Systems.

• Manages employees performing Backshop/I-Level activities in direct support of Aircraft Operations and Maintenance.

• Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.

• Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.

• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.

• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.

• Manages, develops and motivates employees.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship

An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

• 2+ years of experience working with aircraft maintenance and/or modifications

• 3+ years of experience in leading teams and team development

• 3+ years of experience do you in a manufacturing or operations environment

• 3+ years of experience implementing continuous process improvement, lean processes, and employee involvement and engagement strategies in a manufacturing environment

• 3+ years of experience in commercial or military airplane maintenance and /or modification

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 1+ years of experience in GOLD ESP (Government On Line Database Enterprise Service Planning)

• QMS – Quality Management System

• Safety Guiding Principles

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $96,900 – $131,100
