The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Systems Architect to join the team in Seattle, WA.
Join the Boeing Global Services (BGS) Information Technology & Digital Analytics (IT&DA) team as a Senior Systems Architect and be a key player in revolutionizing the aviation training industry! In this pivotal role, you will support the BGS Training Solutions organization by driving the development of innovative Competency Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) digital solutions.

Position Responsibilities:
Lead the design and implementation of solutions that effectively meet business needs while aligning with IT strategy and roadmaps
Enhance existing software products and integrate new technologies to address a diverse range of business challenges
Leverage data architecture in architecting, designing, and delivering high-quality software products
Work closely with other Portfolio Architects to establish long-term technology roadmaps that span multiple software products and value streams
Cultivate strong relationships across business units and IT, understanding the long-term needs of the solutions being developed and fostering collaboration among team members both within and outside the organization
Convey complex topics in a clear and accessible manner, ensuring alignment and understanding among stakeholders
Demonstrate major cloud application development platforms, such as Azure and AWS, to drive innovative solutions
Apply expertise in threat modeling to identify and mitigate potential security risks in system designs
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
10+ years of experience with system architecture
10+ years of experience in a software development leadership role
10+ years of experience architecting software solutions
10+ years of experience with Cloud hosted platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., Azure, AWS)
Experience with Training Solutions applications
Experience with Campus Scheduling technologies, platforms, and applications (e.g., Qualtero (BKS), Fox)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $153,000 – $207,000
